He Painted
He witnessed. He observed. He painted.Colors swirled, blurred. He painted.
Sunflowers blooming, wilting. He painted.
Stars shining. Wind blowing. He painted.
Deranged, ailing, raging, incapacitated
He sliced; it dropped. He lived. He painted.
People mocked, scorned, feared.
Paintings unwanted. He aged.
Rejected, anguished, impoverished, he painted.
Desolate, poisoned, ailing, he walked. He thought. He sighed.
He aimed. He shot. He died.
Years pass. Some notice, appreciate.
People acquire, collect, save. Adore, idolize, respect.
Devotees lament, wonder, accept.
He lived. He died. He painted.
